We’re on a mission to become one of the UK’s most respected electrical engineering contractors, and we’re looking for a passionate, driven Operations Administrator to join us on that journey.

You’ll work closely with – and report directly to – our Operations Director in a hands-on role with plenty of variety. This position is perfect for someone reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented. No formal qualifications are required – just the right attitude and a genuine willingness to learn.

What You’ll Be Doing

Operations & Facilities Management

  • Oversee maintenance and compliance for premises, including EICR, fire alarms, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, security alarms, and air conditioning.
  • Manage cleaning services, office consumables, subscriptions, and waste management.
  • Coordinate key management and premises compliance (fire drills, risk assessments, first aid stock).

Fleet & Equipment Management

  • Maintain fleet and plant equipment, including insurance, servicing, and safety checks.
  • Manage PPE and uniforms for engineers, ensuring safety checklists are completed.

Compliance & Safety

  • Support subcontractor and supplier onboarding, including compliance checks.
  • Monitor engineer training, qualifications, DBS checks, and safety documentation.
  • Assist with RAMS and MEWP checklist monitoring, and support sustainability initiatives such as carbon tracking.

Administrative & Employee Support

  • Manage purchase orders, timesheets, job cards, and personal mileage records.
  • Assist with employee benefits and general office administration.
  • Collect and analyse engineer feedback forms.
