With the Corona Virus lockdown in full effect, we are now all aware of how this outbreak is likely to affect our businesses and personal lives over the coming weeks and months. With a large percentage of workers now sent home from offices and large buildings to work, however, it is a good time for companies to make use of this time to obtain an Electrical Installation Conditioning Report (EICR).
With more space freed up in offices, an EICR can be completed without fear of disruption to the usual order of business and allows for greater access for the electrical contractor carrying out the testing. At One Way, we are available to carry out EICR’s and a whole host of electrical testing during this pandemic and can help businesses get ahead for the workforce’s return.
All of our electrical contractors are abiding stringently to government advice and will uphold social distancing and handwashing guidelines when working at any business premises as to ensure the safety of our team and any of the remaining employees on location.
As well as businesses who may have reduced capacity, with schools being closed for the foreseeable future, we can also help with any electrical works that may be necessary for the education system.
If any business or organisation has planned electrical maintenance such as EICR, emergency lighting testing, electrical load monitoring, fire alarm maintenance, PAT testing or even thermographic surveys planned for later in the year, consider using this period of downtime to get them ticked off early, which will result in less disruption to businesses later on in 2020.
Partial or full site closures allow our electrical contractors to have full access to important electrical elements such as distribution boards without limitations so we are primed to provide extremely efficient testing and reporting, meaning companies can benefit from a streamlined service.
If you would like to schedule electrical maintenance work over the next few weeks, please get in touch with our team on 01782 595 600 today.
