Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, every industrial or commercial property is required by law to have their alarm system checked by a professional at least every six months. We recommend that companies in larger premises, as well as those with more complex fire alarm systems, have their system inspected and serviced once every 3 months. In addition to this, each alarm system should be tested every week to make sure that it is fully functional in the eventuality of a fire.
